Icelandair - Come fly with us. When airfare is included with your trip...

For the first year, our pricing does NOT include airfare. However, it is still possible to include airfare with your trip. The airfare included is based on roundtrip travel and provided by ICELANDAIR.

This year, we are unable to give you a set quote for airfare. Airfare pricing will be based on when you want to fly and availability. In general, we find it safe to say, the earlier you book your flight, the better chance you have of getting a cheaper price than if you were to wait. To get a quote from us, please give us a call with the dates you would like to fly and we will be more than happy to get a quote for you. If you are not satisfied with the quote, you may choose to book your own airfare with another travel agent or through a service like Fly in order to find the ideal airfare price for you.

ICELANDAIR flies out of the following U.S. airports: Boston (BOS), New York City (JFK), Minneapolis (MSP) and Orlando (SFB). Departure generally takes place in the evening with arrival the following day. Some of the cities Icelandair flies to in Europe are: Amsterdam (AMS), Frankfurt (FRA), London (LHR - Heathrow Airport), Paris (CDG - Charles de Gaulle Airport), Reykjavik (KEF - Keflavik Airport), Berlin (BER), Copenhagen (CPH), and Munich (MUC). Arrival is around 6:20am for flights to Reykjavik and between 11am and 2pm for all other cities. Return departure is generally in the afternoon around 2pm with arrival in the U.S. later that evening. All flights (except to/from Reykjavik) make a short stop in Reykjavik where you change planes.

All prices are based on economy class travel. Business class is possible for an extra charge. Including airfare with a trip is optional and we will also sell a trip without airfare. Airfare included is subject to availability. Therefore, we highly recommend booking early, particularly during high season. With an airfare-included trip, only airfare is included as part of the trip package (and within the price). Transportation needed to get to/from the airport to the starting/ending point of the trip is not included, unless stated otherwise. Also keep in mind that the date listed as the start of the tour does not take into account the time it takes to get to the starting point of the tour.

If you would like to arrive or depart from different cities, or if your included roundtrip air travel deviates from the listed terms, additional fees may apply depending on the circumstance. All rates are subject to change.

Icelandair is stationed at the following terminals: at International Terminal E for Boston; at Terminal 7 for New York JFK; at Humphrey Terminal for Minneapolis; and at Terminal B for Orlando-Sanford. Check-in is expected at least 3 hrs. before departure for all international flights (due to increased security). Generally, U.S. departures take place late in the evening at approximately 9:30pm from Boston, 8:50pm from New York JFK, 7:20pm from Minneapolis and 7pm from Orlando. Arrival is the next day between 11am and 1pm for flights to Amsterdam, Frankfurt, London (Heathrow airport), Paris (Charles de Gaulle airport), Berlin, Copenhagen, and Munich, and around 6:20am for flights to Reykjavik (Keflavik airport). All flights to and from Amsterdam, Frankfurt, London, Paris, Berlin, Copenhagen and Munich make a short stop in Reykjavik along the way where you change planes. Flights returning from these cities back to Reykjavik and then the U.S. usually depart in the afternoon between 1 and 2pm (arriving in Reykjavik around 3 to 3:45pm; and in the U.S. later the same afternoon/evening between 6 and 7pm for New York, Boston, Minneapolis; and 8:45pm for Orlando). All times listed are local and approximate. Always check your flight itinerary for exact times!

Time difference: Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Paris, Berlin, Copenhagen and Munich are 6 hours ahead of U.S. Eastern Standard Time; London and Reykjavik are 5 hours ahead. In terms of flying time, Iceland is: 6hrs from New York; 3hrs 5min from Amsterdam; 3hrs 25min from Frankfurt; 3hrs 10min from London and 3hrs 30min from Paris.

Blue Lagoon in Iceland

We recommend making a Hot Stop in Iceland when booking a trip with airfare included. Without any added cost to the airfare, you can easily spend an extra few days or more en route to or from Europe to relax and get acquainted with the well-kept secret of Iceland, the Land of the Midnight Sun. All flights with Icelandair make a short stop-over in Reykjavik, so lengthening your stay for a few extra activities, such as visiting its famous geothermal Blue Lagoon (pictured above), is very convenient. Furthermore, should you decide to make a Hot Stop, we recommend it on the return leg of your trip to allow more time for various activities and to better offset jet-lag.
